AL-ANSAR UNIVERSITY, MAIDUGURI RELEASES POST UTME/DE ADMISSION FORM FOR 2024/2025 ACADEMIC SESSION

Al-Ansar University, Maiduguri (AUM) is a conventional Private University located in Maiduguri, Borno State, it commenced academic activities during the 2022/2023 academic session in three (3) Colleges with twenty-two (22) Undergraduate Academic Programmes. The University now has 4 (four) Colleges with twenty-nine (29) Academic Programmes. It is set to admit 3rd set of students both from the UTME and Direct Entry (DE) during the 2024/2025 academic session. Prospective candidates are therefore invited to apply for admission taking note of:

Eligibility

1. Candidates must have chosen AUM as their most preferred institution and have a minimum cut off mark of 140 in the 2024 UTME subject combination conducted by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB);

2. Candidates who want to come to the University but have not chosen the University as fist choice are to undertake change of Institution on the JAMB Portal;

3. Direct Entry (DE) Candidates with the relevant admission requirements as mentioned below; and

4. All candidates for either UTME or DE must have five (5) Credits, including English Language and Mathematics in WAEC/NECO at not more than two (2) sittings or as specified in the admission requirements below:

Method of application

1. Candidates are to visit JAMB Portal http://www.jamb.gov.ng to change their university of choice and Programmes of studies if they had not chosen AUM;

2. All candidates are to ensure that they upload their ‘O’ Level and 2024 UTME results on the JAMB and University Portals; and

3. Candidates are to pay N2, 000:00 (two thousand naira) for Post UTME screening exercise through the University Portal:https://www.aum.edu.ng/admission/application/register

Note: Accommodation in the hostel is available at N500,000:00 per bed space
