NIGER DELTA UNIVERSITY (NDU) ANNOUNCES 7TH COMBINED CONVOCATION CEREMONY

The Niger Delto University (NDU) wishes to invite all Postgraduate Degree Graduands of the 2022/2023, 2023/2024 & 2024/2025 Academic Sessions and Bachelor’s Degree Graduands of the 2021/2022 & 2022/2025 Academic Sessions, the University Community and the general public to her 7 (Combined) Convacation Ceremony.

Activities of the Ceremony are as scheduled below:

Day 1:Monday, May 12, 2025

Press Conference by the Vice-Chancellor. Prof. Allen A. Agih-10:00am

Day 2:Tuesday, May 13, 2025

Interdenominational Service at the Liberation Chapel, NDU-10:00am

Day 3:Wednesday, May 14, 2025

Exhibitions/Arts Performances and Sporting Activities – All Day

Day 4:Thursday, May 15, 2025

Convocation Lecture at the University Auditorium by Mr Teinbo S. Jock-Rich, CON President/Founder, Belemaoil Producing Limited-11:00am

Day 5:Friday, May 16, 2025

i. Ground breaking ceremonies for development projects in the University-9:00am

ii. Convocation ceremony at the Multipurpose Theatre (Besides the Faculty of Agriculture) for the Award of Bachelors, Masters and Doctorate Degrees. Postgraduate Diploma and Prizes -10:00am

General Information:

1. Academic Gowns will be available for collection from Monday, May 12, 2025 at the Postgraduate school and respective Faculties upon presentation of evidence of Final Clearance,

Graduands (except Ph.D Graduates) are expected to return the collected Academic Gowns on or before Tuesday, May 20, 2025.

Please note that the late return, any damage or loss of an Academic Gown will attract penalty.
