This is to formally inform the general public, particularly all candidates who applied for admission into the various programmes offered by Kaduna Polytechnic (ND, NCE, and B-Tech) that the institution’s Post-UTME screening exercise for the 2025/2026 academic session has been scheduled to commence from Tuesday, 22nd July 2025.
The management of Kaduna Polytechnic wishes to notify all concerned candidates that the Post-UTME screening exercise is an essential step in the admission process. It provides an opportunity for the institution to assess candidates’ qualifications and readiness for their chosen programmes.
ELIGIBILITY FOR THE POST-UTME SCREENING
The following categories of candidates who participated in the 2025 JAMB UTME are eligible to take part in the screening:
a. Candidates who selected Kaduna Polytechnic as their first choice of institution and obtained a minimum score of 100 in the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination.
b. Candidates who did not initially choose Kaduna Polytechnic but are interested in being considered for admission and also scored a minimum of 100 in the 2025 JAMB examination. However, such candidates are required to carry out a change of institution on the official JAMB portal (www.jamb.org.ng) and select Kaduna Polytechnic as their first choice. They are also expected to choose their preferred course of study before proceeding with the screening registration.
PAYMENT AND REGISTRATION PROCEDURE
Candidates residing within Kaduna Metropolis are encouraged to visit the Kaduna Polytechnic ICT Centre for ease of online registration and guidance through the screening process. A screening fee of Two Thousand Naira (N2,000.00) only, as stipulated by JAMB, is required to complete the process.
Alternatively, candidates who prefer to register remotely can visit the Kaduna Polytechnic official website via www.kadunapoly.edu.ng. On the homepage, they should navigate to the “Admission” section, select “POST-UTME Screening,” input their JAMB registration number, and follow the on-screen instructions carefully to complete the registration process successfully.
It is extremely important for all candidates, whether they chose the Polytechnic initially or not, to ensure that their O’level results are uploaded to the JAMB CAPS portal through any accredited JAMB CBT Centre. Failure to upload the relevant academic results may result in automatic disqualification from the admission process, regardless of performance in the screening exercise.
The management of Kaduna Polytechnic strongly advises all applicants to adhere strictly to the instructions provided and complete all steps before the deadline. For additional inquiries or assistance, candidates may visit the school website or any JAMB-accredited CBT Centre.

Dr. Muhammed Tanimu
