Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Remedial Admission Form

The remedial application fee for Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU), Bauchi, is N5,000.00 (five thousand Naira) and must be paid through the admission portal; please be aware that the price is non-refundable. However, you will be responsible for paying the applicable bank fees.

Admission Requirements

1. The basic science topics of Biology, Chemistry, and Physics must be taken for at least two (2) credits by applicants for the remedial science program. Additionally, for a social science program, you must have a minimum of two (2) credits in each of the following: geography, economics, and biology.

2. Before being admitted to a degree program, candidates accepted for the remedial studies program MUST enroll in and complete the SSCE, NECO, or credit-bearing courses in which they are lacking.

3. Candidates are advised to register for the 2020 JAMB (UTME) to be admitted to ATBU’s and other universities’ degree programs.

4. The program lasts for a total of twelve (12) months.

How to Apply for the ATBU Remedial Admission Form

There is a new online application form for the ATBU IJMB and remedial classes. Apply right away by following the steps listed below:

i. Interested candidates should go to www.portal.atbu.edu.ng or www.portal.atbu.edu.ng/rems (for Remedial) to download RRR for the application forms. For logging into the Registration portal, only RRR produced from this website will be allowed.

ii. Using the produced RRR from (i) above, applicants must pay N5,000.00 for the forms at the ATBU Microfinance Bank or any other commercial bank located throughout the nation.

iii. After that, applicants should proceed to register online at www.portal.atbu.edu.ng/rems for the remedial platform.

Note: Candidates are recommended to carefully adhere to the registration instructions, which are spelled out on the School website.

iv. The applicant’s photo (120px by 120px and 40kb) and O’level information will be requested when completing the form.

v. After filling out the application, potential applicants are asked to print it out and deliver it to the Directorate liaison office at ATBU’s Yelwa campus’ Student Affairs Unit.
